Spring Patterns

If you are looking to think outside the box with your wardrobe this is definitely a style for you! There are many different prints that are in this spring season. Some of them are floral, stripes, lace, and Aztec/tribal. Are you in love with one of these patterned items but don’t know what to pair it with? You don’t always have to pair your pattern with a solid, that’s the easy way to go, you can also pair it with an opposing print! Here are some different ideas on what to pair your favorite new print with.

Floral- Of course this looks great with just about anything. Solids will always work if you are looking to have your floral stand out. If you are looking to mix it up a bit you can also pair your floral with stripes. I know it sounds odd, but trust me once you have it on you will look great! It’s definitely a trend setter style.

Stripes- As previously mentioned this works really well with floral prints. This also works really well if you are to compliment it with apposing stripes, such as stripes that change directions and colors. Feel free to try new things with this trend as solids are less in play this season.

Lace- This is an easy one, you can pair this with just about any type of print! This is one of my favorites to pair with the Aztec/tribal print. You can do anything from a lacy tank and tribal cardigan to your tribal tank and lace infinity scarf! If you are looking to spice up your wardrobe but not go too far outside your comfort zone with different printed items this is the best place to start. It will keep you looking trendy without overdoing the style, and there really isn’t much that you can do wrong with pairing your lace with any type of print.

Aztec/tribal- This is a newer style this season and it has been a huge hit! This one is a little harder to pair things with, so if you are looking to create your own unique style this is the one for you. Pairing Aztec/tribal things in your wardrobe takes a while to get used to. It works really well if you are going with something solid, but if you want to keep your style trendy I would pair it with something lace or even contrasting stripes.

Have fun with creating your own style! No one ever said you can’t mix and match things together to make a unique look.
